Tatum is solid as soderbergh's last theatrical leading man and has done more than enough to prove himself more than a set of abs and a pretty face.Following up her turn as the iconic lisbeth salander in"The girl with the dragon tattoo"It's rooney mara who truly gets to shine in this.Her performance as emily taylor is truly something to behold as she navigates the line between frazzled and delicate all the while keep the devious just below the surface until the film's conclusion.Jude law as her well meaning psychiatrist worked wonders as his character navigated a minefield that even he didn't imagine was feasible.The entire film was truly layers upon layers of psychological gamesmanship that was just a blast to watch, even when it got a little ridiculous because it was just so brilliantly executed.
